Andrey Chobanov: We cannot talk about a second wave of coronavirus in Bulgaria

We observe a normal development of the coronavirus, we can not talk about a second wave. It was naive to think that we would prevent the virus from spreading more widely. The epidemic will stop when everyone gets in contact with the coronavirus, Andrey Chorbanov, head of the Laboratory of Experimental Immunology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, told the Bulgarian National Radio.

The pathogenesis is different from what is visible on the surface. A small percentage of people are seriously ill, but a huge number of people will not even realize that they have been infected. Behind each positive test there are at least 100 who have had the disease without symptoms.
People should be responsible, but not paranoid, Chorbanov urged.
