71% of Bulgarians approve of country’s membership of EU, 60% - of NATO: survey

No tangible changes have been registered since the end of 2019 in public sentiments regarding Bulgaria’s membership of the EU. 71% of Bulgarians approve of it, and 19% do not. By party affiliation – 96% of GERB’s voters and 49% of the voters of the Bulgarian Socialist Party take a positive view of the country’s EU membership, indicate data from a nationally representative survey conducted by Exacta Research Group in the 6-13 June period. Bulgaria’s membership of NATO is approved of by 60% of the respondents. 25% do not approve of it.
