270 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Bulgaria over past 24 hours

270 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours out of 5,582 PCR tests performed, according to data from the single information portal.

The biggest number is in Blagoevgrad - 55, in Sofia - 29, and in Varna - 27.

146 have recovered, and 9 have died. 778 coronavirus patients are in hospital, 42 in intensive care.

9 new Covid-19 cases have been registered among medical workers over the past 24 hours - 5 are doctors, 1 - an orderly, and 3 - other kinds of medical staff.
