447,200 Bulgarians travelled to tourist destinations during the second quarter of the year, BTA reports.
Only 6.8 % of them travelled abroad, 92.7% travelled inside Bulgaria only, and 0.5% made trips inside the country as well as to other countries. Compared to the same quarter of 2019 there is a 63.3 % drop in the number of people over the age of 15 who have travelled.
In the second quarter of 2020, it was Bulgarians aged 25-44 who travelled the most, or 45.3% of all people who have made trips. Predominant for all age groups is travel inside the country.
