At 12 o'clock on September 2, a protest is planned by the transport companies with a request to open the checkpoint "Ilinden – Exohi" on the border with Greece. The protest will take place at the Kulata-Promahonas border checkpoint.

A few days ago, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that on September 7, at the insistence of the Bulgarian side, the border checkpoint "Ilinden - Exohi" will be open for trucks. To this date, however, information remains conflicting, including that the opening could happen on September 15. Organizers say that the protest will be peaceful and there are no plans to close the Kulata checkpoint.
