The group of journalists who arrived on the first flight of the charter flights resumed in mid-August toured remarkable places in Bulgaria to present them to their compatriots.

Their route around the country emphasized places that are attractive and at the same time different from the attractions present in the traditional guides. The village of Medovo has charmed the representatives of the Israeli media with the demonstrations of the Bulgarian handicrafts, and the Museum of Honey in the village - with the secrets of the honey-making industry. Honey extraction is an attraction that is not often seen, and when given the opportunity to participate in the process, honey is even tastier, said the guests.

The nature in the Stara Planina village of Erkech with its beautiful panorama and crystal clear air is among the landmarks that have impressed the Israeli media teams. They liked the tranquillity and simplicity of life and the first-hand experience of the authentic Bulgarian way of life. Foreigners were also impressed by the castle "In Love with the Wind" near the village of Ravadinovo, built in the shape of a real medieval castle.

Currently, there are five flights a week from Israel to Bulgaria’s airport in Burgas. After September 18, the Jewish New Year, more guests are expected from Israel on our Black Sea coast. Charter flights have been planned to Bourgas until October 25.
