Queues of cars have formed at the Bulgarian-Turkish border at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint. For the past 24 hours, 2,418 heavy trucks have passed through the checkpoint, our correspondent Dora Atanasova reports from Haskovo.

During the weekends, many people travel to Edirne for shopping, waiting several hours to cross the border. It is expected that there will be an accumulation of vehicles at "Kapitan Andreevo" tomorrow as well.

The depreciation of the Turkish lira and the lack of border restrictions due to the coronavirus became an additional incentive to visit one of the favorite destinations of Bulgarians for shopping tourism.
