As of today Romania is introducing the requirement for a negative PCR test for all arrivals from Bulgaria, performed less than 48 hours prior to arrival, the BNR reports citing the Border Police.

People without a negative test will be placed under 14-day quarantine in an accommodation location of their choosing. Exceptions will be made for passenger and freight transport staff, state officials, medical experts etc. Yesterday the Romanian National Committee for Emergency Situations put Bulgaria on the list of high-risk countries for Covid-19.
