President Rumen Radev is continuing his consultations on the upcoming parliamentary elections in Bulgaria.

He pointed out that not everything connected with the organization of parliamentary elections depends on the date on which they will be held. Talking to representatives of the National Association of Municipalities, the Bulgarian president stated that it was important to hold flawless elections, but that it was also important to persuade people to go out and vote.

The mayors are insisting that Bulgarian citizens under quarantine be given equal rights to vote, adding that recruiting members of polling station commissions willing to enter the Covid-wards of hospitals so that patients can cast their vote, will likely be a problem.
