6,400 flights expected during season 2021 in Burgas

Minister of Tourism Mariyana Nikolova  inspected Burgas airport and met with Frank Quante, CEO of Fraport Twin Star Airport Management, concessionaire of Burgas airport.

6,400  flights are expected for season 2021 in Burgas. The summer season will start on 1 June. The biggest number of flights are expected from Russia.  With the opening of a Bulgarian tourist mission in Warsaw the Polish market is expected to develop as well, interest in the Czech Republic is also going up. Reservations have reached 40% for the winter season, Minister Nikolova said.

She got acquainted with the safety measures at the airport and commented that she hopes that with the vaccinations travel will pick up.
