BSP files request for video surveillance of elections

The BSP has proposed changes to the Electoral Code in order to clear the voter lists of "dead souls" through active registration as well as video surveillance of the counting of ballots and writing protocols. This was what the party's chair Korneliya Ninova said at the first meeting with non-parliamentary parties and non-governmental organizations for joint actions to ensure fair and free elections.

The BSP also offers a parallel counting of the results in all sections. Ninova said the Socialists would give a helping hand to anyone who wanted fair elections guaranteed.
