How to receive vaccination against Covid-19 in Bulgaria

Photo: BTA

Health insured persons in Bulgaria can contact their personal doctor (GP), who is obliged to provide them with a vaccine and assign them a day and time in which to appear in the doctor's office for receiving the shot.

Uninsured persons cannot book a date and time slot for vaccination through their GP. However, they can do so by contacting the Regional Health Inspectorate in charge of their city/town/village.

A vaccine shot can also be received at the newly-opened vaccination points, which is currently accompanied with crowding and queuing.

An electronic register is expected to be ready by the end of the month, in which everyone will be able to submit their application for inoculation, BNT reported.
