Bulgaria supports the creation of "fast, green corridors" for vaccinated people and those who have already recovered from Covid-19. Meanwhile, travel restrictions should not apply to the rest of the European citizens. This should reboot tourism ecosystem and mobility, Bulgaria’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Mariana Nikolova said at a video conference of the European Union Ministers of Tourism.

Minister Nikolova emphasized Bulgaria’s experience in developing domestic, SPA, wellness, medical and balneal tourism amid the Covid-19 pandemic. In her words, tourists in Bulgaria shifted towards safer modes of transport and smaller resorts and accommodation facilities, reported BTA.
