According to Johns Hopkins Institute survey:

Bulgaria among ten countries with highest Covid-19 mortality rate

Bulgaria is in the list of the ten countries most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in terms of the number of deaths, according to data from the monitoring of the pandemic of the Johns Hopkins Institute

Based on the number of victims of the infection per 100 thousand people of the population, Bulgaria ranks tenth in mortality with 173.51 deaths from established coronavirus infection. 

Ahead of Bulgaria based on this indicator are San Marino, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Montenegro, Slovenia, Great Britain, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Italy.

Bulgaria ranks 14th in terms of case fatality with 4% mortality among confirmed cases of Covid-19, the Ministry of Health announced.
