Bulgaria to participate in largest tourist exhibition in Ukraine

Bulgaria will participate in the 26th Ukraine International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (UITT), which takes place from March 24 to 26 in Kiev, BTA reported. Bulgaria's Ministry of Tourism has organized a Bulgarian stand at the exhibition in which 361 companies from 23 countries will present their offers for the summer-autumn 2021 season.

Ukraine is a priority tourist market and partner for Bulgaria. Before the pandemic in 2019, the country ranked 6th out of all countries in the number of tourist visits to Bulgaria with over 471,000 Ukrainian tourists. This was the year with the number of Ukrainian tourists for the last 10 years, as the increase compared to 2018 was 24%, according to the statistics of the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism.
