Bulgaria reports 4,013 new Covid-19 cases

4,013 is the number of new Covid-19 cases reported in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours or 19.4% of the 20,647 tests performed, data from the Single Coronavirus Information Portal updated at midnight shows.

The highest number of newly registered infections is in Sofia – 1,018, followed by the regions of Varna with 345 and Plovdiv with 322 newly registered coronavirus cases.

10,382 coronavirus patients are currently being treated in hospital, of them 753 in intensive care units. The number of recoveries reported in the past 24 hours is 3,996, the number deaths – 125, bringing the death toll to 13,438.

12,083 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of vaccinations in the country to 498,085.
