Actors from the Sofia Theater are the new ambassadors of the Ecobalance campaign in support of the adoption of pets - "Don't buy! Adopt!".

Some of the most popular people in the theatre company and some even accompanied by their children stood in front of the lens of the photographer Lilia Yotova and shot a special photo session with the dogs from the shelter.

The campaign "Don't buy! Adopt!" has been in existence for three years now, and in May alone this year 154 dogs were adopted from the shelters of the nature protection organization.

The photos with the actors and their four-legged friends are gathered in an exhibition that viewers can see every night until the end of the season, before the performances on the summer stage. The opening of the exhibition on July 1 coincided with the opening of the "On the Stairs" festival, which the theatre organizes until July 7. The six performances that will take place on the open stage in front of the Sofia Theatre building will compete for the awards for "Best Performance", "Best Actress" and "Best Actor", which will be determined by an authoritative jury.

For the second year in a row, the open stage "On the Stairs" in Zaimov Park will be able to welcome 150 spectators to enjoy a theatre performance in nature.
