We decided with absolute unanimity that we could not support the government proposed by ITN party, the co-chairman of "Democratic Bulgaria" Hristo Ivanov stated in Parliament today. "From the very beginning, we said that we would support only a government that can produce a change," Ivanov said, accusing ITN of ties to the MRF party.

The ITN's proposed governance declaration lacks key priorities and a commitment for the early termination of the chief prosecutor's term, for the restructuring of the Anti-Mafia Commission and for deep reform in structures in the interior ministry, Ivanov said.
He called for immediate talks on forming a government with the mandate of the third political force in parliament.
