Coronavirus mortality in this country is two times higher than the average for the European Union, a report of the Minister of Health Dr. Stoycho Katsarov shows. In addition, this country is last when it comes to the number of vaccines administered. He has listed other worrying facts: life expectancy in this country is the lowest among all EU Member States, while infant mortality is among the highest; patients pay almost half of the cost of medical care provided to them; Bulgaria is the second country with the lowest number of nurses.
