Road industry stay ready for protests

A working group will try to solve the problems of road companies. This has been decided at a meeting in the Council of Ministers with the leadership of the Bulgarian Branch Chamber "Roads". Prime Minister Stefan Yanev has ordered the establishment of a working group to work on the preparation of winter road maintenance, as well as on the payment for the already performed activities under contracts, totaling over 700,000 euros. Minister of Regional Development Violeta Komitova proposes that this should be done with money from budget 2022.

"The dialogue continues," said Stefan Tchaikov of the Bulgarian Branch Chamber "Roads", but pointed out that despite the fact protests have stopped, the industry remains ready for protests.
