Bulgaria reports twice higher number of Covid-related deaths than previous day

1835 are the new infections with coronavirus in Bulgaria for the past 24 hours. 8.7% of the 20,996 tests performed returned positive, the National Coronavirus Information Portal indicates. The highest number of new cases is in Sofia - 401, in Plovdiv - 150, in Varna - 145 and in Blagoevgrad - 103. The least number of new infections is reported in Razgrad - 14.

The registered patients are currently 41,752. A total of 4,949 patients are in hospital as 414 of them are in intensive care. 

In the last 24 hours, 99 people died with established Covid-19. The increase in this tragic indicator compared to the previous day is with 72 deaths. 

11,441 vaccines were administered on Thursday. Thus, the total number of doses administered are already 2,494,575. A total of 1,298,936 people have completed the full immunization.
