The key to Bulgaria's agreement for start of EU membership talks with the Republic of North Macedonia depends on Skopje abiding by the Treaty of Friendship from 2017. This is what President Rumen Radev said at the EU-Western Balkans summit in Slovenia.
President Radev has called for including the Bulgarians in the constitution of North Macedonia. "Just as the historical truth in relations with Greece was recognized, so should the historical truth in relations with Bulgaria be recognized.
