South Africa shows interest in Bulgarian yogurt

At a meeting in Sofia, Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Svetlan Stoev and South Africa's Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Alvin Botes reaffirmed the two sides' desire to intensify bilateral relations.

Among the opportunities for activating the relations, Minister Stoev pointed out the development of joint investment projects for the production of traditional Bulgarian food products in South Africa. Botes pointed out the interest of his country's business in Bulgarian products such as yogurt and cheese.

During the conversation, the guest spoke highly of the 30,000-strong Bulgarian community in South Africa, which is well-integrated in the country.
