336 people in Bulgaria have become victims of human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation in 2020. The main part of the victims are women - 333 out of a total of 336 people. Their traffic is directed mainly to richer countries in Europe such as Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Great Britain, France and Switzerland.
Traffickers are using increasingly "softer" methods of involvement - fraud and deception, as more and more often they use social networks, said Bulgarian Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov, BNR reported.
