Bulgaria is going to provide expert support to North Macedonia in the preparation of labor legislation in line with EU requirements. In this way Bulgaria is to support its southwestern neighbor on its path to EU Membership. This has been agreed by the Ministers of Labor and Social Policy of Bulgaria and North Macedonia Galab Donev and Jagoda Shahpaska at a meeting in Sofia.

Minister Donev expressed hope that Bulgaria and North Macedonia would continue their co-operation in the field of labor migration by signing an agreement guaranteeing easier access to the labor market for citizens of the two countries.
