Consent of both parents is not required for vaccination of a child

The main substance in the Covid vaccine for children is 3 grams less in comparison to the vaccine for adults. It is pediatric, but no less effective in comparison to the adult version. This was what Chief State Health Inspector Assoc. Prof. Angel Kunchev said. The side effects are the same - mild soreness at the application site and mild fever. No booster dose for children is currently being discussed.

The vials contain ten doses, which complicates the organization of immunization, and children should be vaccinated in groups. This is the reason why the distribution of vaccines is concentrated in only 69 vaccination points. Therefore, it is recommended to make an appointment in advance for immunization. The consent of both parents will not be required for vaccination, health officials said.
