As of today, Bulgaria’s MPs will need a green certificate to enter the National Assembly building. Those who have not had Covid-19 or have not received vaccines, will undergo Covid-19 tests in special vans placed in front of the Parliament. The MPs will pay for their tests and the tests of their associates with their own money, while tests of National Assembly administration and journalists will be paid from the Parliament’s budget.
According to MP Andrey Gyurov from “We Continue the Change”, the introduction of the green certificate in the National Assembly is not populism, but a matter of justice. According to MP Elena Guncheva from “Vazrazhdane” party, this is the beginning of a civil war.
