Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Monday, January 24

Cold weather and light snow are expected in Bulgaria

The weather on Monday will be predominantly cloudy. Moderate to strong northerly and northeasterly winds will continue to bring cold air. Light snow is expected in some parts of Northern and Western Bulgaria on Sunday night. The mountain areas will also see some light snow on Monday. Clouds will break in the western parts of the country in the afternoon hours. Minimum temperatures will fluctuate between minus 9°C and minus 4°C, for Sofia around minus 9°C. Maximum temperatures will range from minus 5°C and 0°C, for Sofia- around minus 5°C.

Significant clouds are in the forecast for the mountain areas. There will be snow in some mountain areas in the western parts of the country. Strong northeasterly winds are expected. Blizzards and snowdrifts are possible in the mountain passes. Maximum temperatures at 1,200 meters will be around minus 11°C, at 2,000 meters- minus 14°C.

There will be significant clouds over the Black Sea coast. Light snow is possible in some portions of the southern seacoast. Moderate to strong easterly and northeasterly winds are expected. Maximum temperatures will fluctuate between 0°C and 2°C.
