March 20 is the possible date for cancellation of all Covid restrictions in Bulgaria, including the revocation of the green certificate. This was announced by Bulgaria's Prime Minister Kiril Petkov at an extraordinary governmental briefing. The green certificate will continue to be valid only for travel abroad.

Petkov said that the districts in the country were moving from the red to the yellow zone, then they would be in the green zone with low morbidity.

The Minister of Health, Asena Serbezova, warned that vaccination should continue.

As of February 24, owners of public facilities can allow persons without a green certificate at their own discretion.

As of March 5, the requirement for a green certificate for visitors to sites of public importance will be abolished.

The border health control will be carried out according to the colour zones and the group of countries on the dark red list will be eliminated, that is - everyone with a green certificate will be able to enter our country, from any country in the world.
