Many citizens gathered in the centre of Sofia for another peaceful march in support of Ukraine, this time under the slogan "We are not neutral." The main demand of the people is that Bulgaria should send military defence assistance to Ukraine, and the reason for the event is the killings of civilians in the Ukrainian city of Bucha.

"Let's not be fooled - not taking sides and refusing to help is complicity with the aggressor," the organizers wrote on their Facebook page.

The procession started from St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and stopped in front of the Russian Cultural Information Centre, where people left old shoes like in many other countries in memory of the victims in Ukraine.

The next two stops are the Bulgarian National Television "to ask the media to stop calling the justification of killings and war crimes "the expression of a point of view", and the monument to the Soviet army where the protesters will light candles again and keep a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the war in Ukraine.
