Prime Minister calls on parliament to approve payments for road construction companies

At a meeting dedicated to road safety, which was held in the Council of Ministers, Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said he expected the parliament to approve payments to road companies this week. The state owes the companies 600 million euros. The government is ready to pay 300 million. The companies have stated their readiness to protest before the Easter holidays and block roads.

In a letter to the “There is Such a People” party, the Road Safety Institute called for the immediate dismissal of the Minister of Regional Development. According to the experts, the ministry was not fulfilling its duties.
