Bulgaria directs money from European programs towards aid for refugees from Ukraine

A government decision has directed funds from European operational programs towards providing support to those fleeing the war in Ukraine and are settling in Bulgaria. Nearly 30 million euros from the Good Governance program will go for food and non-food products, which will be distributed by the Red Cross. Funds will also be used for educational integration and access to day care for children from Ukraine, transport costs for resettlement of people with temporary protection and for accommodation.
