Bulgaria reports twice more new infections than recoveries

Bulgaria has registered 96 new cases of Covid-19 for the last 24 hours, or 4 cases more than the day before. Less than 60% of the newly infected persons have not been vaccinated. 3.18% of the 3,021 tests performed came back positive, according to the portal coronavirus.bg.

The number of actively registered patients has increased by 36 to 83,681. 13 infected patients were admitted to hospitals in the past day. The number of hospital patients overall has decreased to 511. 43 of them are treated in intensive care.

During the day, 3 patients with an established Covid-19 infection passed away. 

The number of reported daily recoveries is 57.

Only 12 vaccine jabs were administered on Sunday.
