Heating companies propose increase in prices by 29 to 330%

Photo: Archive

Heating companies have requested a rise in the price of heating and hot water between 29% in Sofia and 330% in Veliko Tarnovo. This is clear from the published statements of the companies on the website of the state energy regulator.

However, their calculations were made in March and do not take into account the suspension of natural gas supplies from Russia, which changed fuel prices.

The energy regulator is about to come up with its own calculations for the necessary change in prices from July.

According to unofficial information, electricity for households is expected to rise by about 3-4%, and heating and hot water on average for the country - by about 40%.
