“If we were in Prime Minister Kiril Petkov's place, we would first ask for a vote of confidence before talking about a minority government," Toma Bikov, MP from the main opposition force GERB-SDS, said about the crisis in the cabinet. It is obvious that this government cannot continue to work with this mandate and composition, Bikov said.

MRF leader Mustafa Karadayi said that his party would not support new ministers in the cabinet.

Speaking to the Bulgarian National Radio, the leader of the opposition Vazrazhdane party Kostadin Kostadinov said that they would not bargain with the ruling party if they failed to support the five anti-European and anti-NATO conditions of Vazrazhdane.
