Weather forecast: Yellow alert for rain in half of regions of Bulgaria

A cold atmospheric front will pass across the country in the next 24 hours.

On Saturday there will be cumulonimbus clouds. Heavy rain is expected in places in Central and Eastern Bulgaria, and there will be a risk of hail. Maximum temperatures 23° C. - 28° C., for Sofia around 23° C. 

Over the Black Sea there will be brief showers with thunder over the Northern portion of the coastline in the morning, in the afternoon there will be showers in the South. Maximum temperature of the air, and of the water - 22° C., sea state 2-3.

Over the mountains there will be clouds with occasional rain and thunder. Maximum temperature at 1,200 m. 14° C., at 2,000 m. 9° C.

On Sunday the rain will continue in the regions of Rila and the Rhodopes, and in the Southeast.
