Bulgaria reports 3 Covid-related deaths in past day

310 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 3,811 tests performed, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. More than 57.7% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. 8.13% of the tests have returned positive result. 

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection decreased with 174 to 61,604. 40 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 33 of them (82.5%) were not vaccinated. 273 people are being treated in hospital, as 32 of them are in intensive care units. 1,916 people have been placed under quarantine.

3 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past day. 481 have been reported cured. 402 vaccine doses were administered on Tuesday.
