The parameters of the programme of the draft cabinet of Assen Vassilev from We Continue the Change have been made public. The governance programme contains more than 40 bills to be passed in the next 6 months.
"In fact most of them must be adopted within 4 months, if we want Bulgaria to continue to move forward at the same paceand the billions of euros that have to flow into the Bulgarian economy to be absorbed," outgoing Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said.
The priorities include the structural reforms of last year's coalition agreement, the law on the Anti-Corruption Commission and the appointment of outgoing Interior Minister Boyko Rachkov as its head. Democratic Bulgaria described the programme as good and focused. The BSP had some criticisms, so they continued the negotiations with We Continue the Change.
Assen Vassilev said that so far the ministerial posts in the new government have not been commented, these talks are expected to start tomorrow.
