Due to the increase in Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria, today the Ministry of Health will order the wearing of masks in medical facilities in the cities with the highest incidence of the novel coronavirus. This was announced by the chief state health inspector, Associate Professor Angel Kunchev.
He pointed out that the fifth wave of Covid-19, which the country is entering, will reach its peak in August.

"In the case of airborne infections, especially with the sub-variants of Omicron - BA.4 and BA.5, any measures cannot stop the spread, but they can reduce its rate," said Kunchev.
