We expect the number of coronavirus cases to rise, Prof. Iva Hristova, director of the National Centre  for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, told Bulgaria ON AIR. "Intensive talks were held at the Ministry of Health and within two days the results and the new measures against the spread of Covid-19 will be announced. At least the wearing of masks should be mandatory everywhere in public places," said Hristova.

More districts in the country are moving into the yellow zone in terms of the level of morbidity on a two-week basis, the centre announced. The incidence of the coronavirus infection on a two-week basis in the country is 129 new infections per 100,000 population.
