Bulgaria supports the call of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba to stand firm in our support and lasting commitment to Ukraine. Bulgaria will continue to support and assist Ukraine's European integration as a candidate country. This was the Bulgarian position expressed before the regular meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels.

EU foreign ministers have approved another 500 million euros for Ukraine. Bulgaria supported the initiative of the Czech Presidency for a strategic discussion to combat Russian disinformation and propaganda, to isolate Russia internationally and to support EU efforts for allowing export of wheat from Ukraine, the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

German Agriculture Minister Cem Özdemir said that believing Russian President Vladimir Putin's words about export of Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea is like “believing in Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny". He called on the European Commission to take a more active role in boosting Ukraine's exports by road and rail, DPA reports.
