Democratic Bulgaria will say whether it supports a prospective cabinet once it finds out who the nomination for PM is

Democratic Bulgaria will make its decision on whether to give its support to a prospective Bulgarian Socialist Party cabinet when it finds out who the nomination for prime minister is, Hristo Ivanov, Democratic Bulgaria co-chair stated.

He added that expectations are for the third cabinet-forming mandate to be regarded as a mandate of all political forces negotiations are currently being held with, and that no one must impose their ideological vision.

The nomination for prime minister should be made by We Continue the Change, and the prospective future cabinet should take as its basis the programme that has been drawn up, Democratic Bulgaria says. According to Hristo Ivanov, there is a chance a new cabinet will be formed provided We Continue the Change and There Is Such a People overcome their differences. Democratic Bulgaria will support the nomination of Finance Minister Assen Vassilev for prime minister, and Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov for head of the anti-corruption commission.
