24% coronavirus positivity in Bulgaria in past day

1,644 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, out of 6,754 tests performed, a positivity rate of 24%. More than 63.6% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated, indicate data of the coronavirus.bg portal.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection increased with 1,217 to 15,426. 137 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 103 of them were not vaccinated. 817 patients are being treated in hospital, as 45 of them are in intensive care units.

6 Covid-related deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours. 421 patients have been reported cured. 4,005 vaccine doses were administered on Wednesday.
