Anti-epidemic measures in eight more regions of Bulgaria as of today

Anti-epidemic measures are being put in place in 8 more regions of the country as of today – the regions of Plovdiv, Blagoevgrad, Kyustendil, Montana, Pernik, Razgrad, Stara Zagora and Haskovo.

This brings the number of Stage 1 regions - according to the National Operational Plan for coping with the Covid-19 pandemic - up to 19. The measures are: mandatory mask-wearing inside medical and health establishments, and social services facilities, 1.5 m. physical distancing in crowded areas and teleworking where possible. 

As of 23 July, anti-epidemic measures are also being introduced on the territory of Lovech region.
