Countries of the Ramstein format discuss new military aid to Ukraine

There are no reasons for the resumption of gas supplies to "hostile" Bulgaria, Russian senator Alexey Pushkov wrote in his Telegram channel. "I think that Bulgaria should be given the opportunity to do what it so desperately wanted - to spend the winter without Russian gas. It is not entirely clear why gas supplies to an actively hostile country should continue, especially after it gave up on Russian gas," the senator added, quoted by the Russian propaganda agency "Novosti".

On August 11, the fifth meeting of the countries of the "Ramstein" format takes place in Copenhagen at the level of defense ministers, UNIAN reports.

Ukraine's foreign creditors have approved a two-year moratorium on bond payments for 20 billion USD of Ukrainian debt, Reuters reported. The big investment funds agreed on this, after the US, Britain and other creditor countries had earlier decided the same. The measure will spare Kyiv 5 billion dollars.
