Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Wednesday, August 24

Cloudy weather is in the forecast for Bulgaria for Tuesday night. It will rain in some parts of Central Bulgaria and in Northwestern Bulgaria. Clouds will dissipate on Wednesday morning. There will be low visibility along the Danube River. There will be significant clouds during the day. Cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will form in the afternoon hours and in the evening. Brief showers and thunderstorms are expected in most parts of the country. Daytime highs will rise slightly to 26°C-31°C, for Sofia- around 26°C.

Over the Black Sea coastline, the clouds will temporarily disperse. Cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will form in the afternoon. It will rain and thunder in some portions of the coastline. There will be moderate northerly and northeasterly winds. Maximum temperatures will fluctuate between 26°C and 29°C. The seawater temperature is 26°C-27°C. Sea state 2-3.

Over the mountains there will be significant cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds and occasional showers, with intense rain in some parts. There will be light to moderate easterly and southeasterly winds. Maximum temperatures at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 20°C, at 2,000 meters- around 13°C.
