Ministry of Agriculture organises day of open doors

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the Ministry of Agriculture in Sofia opens its doors to citizens today. The event coincides with the 100th anniversary of the international architectural competition for the design of the beautiful building and 95 years since its construction. The building is the work of the great Bulgarian architect Nikola Lazarov, who receive his education in Paris.

It was built in a Neo-baroque style and is characterized by its richly decorated curved facade, stone columns, balconies. There is a decorated clock in the center of its large dome.

In addition to getting to know the interior of the building and its history, visitors will be able to see two exhibitions - the photo exhibition "Sofia: From the first tram to the latest metro station" and the watercolor works of arch. Belin Mollov on the topic "Cultural and historical heritage", located in the central lobby.
