The caretaker government does not want to submit a draft budget for 2023, but it is preparing it because it has to. This is what Anton Kutev, the spokesman of the cabinet, told the BNR. He expressed the cabinet's hope that the parliament would quickly form a new government that would propose its own budget.

Speaking about discussions on who should be invited to the opening of the 48th Bulgarian Parliament, the speaker pointed out that the question whether to invite the Russian ambassador Eleonora Mitrofanova was not on people’s agenda but it is a sign that Bulgaria retains its Euro-Atlantic orientation. "Both President Rumen Radev and the cabinet have unequivocally proven through their actions that an orientation outside the Euro-Atlantic space is unthinkable!" Kutev added.

Speaking about the hacker attack against sites of Bulgarian institutions, Kutev said that it did not cause serious damage and was overcome.
