Bulgaria reports 289 new infections with Covid-19 in past day

Over the past 24 hours, 289 cases of coronavirus have been established in Bulgaria out of 1,791 tests performed, according to the data of the National Coronavirus Information Portal. 60.5% of the newly infected persons have not been vaccinated. 

The highest number of new cases is registered in Sofia – 153, in Varna – 21, and in Plovdiv – 13. 
There are 690 patients in hospital, of which 46 are in intensive care units. 

There were no fatalities in the past day. 13 people have recovered. Active cases number 11,218. 

Yesterday, 40 doses of vaccines against coronavirus were administered. There are 2,072,635 people in Bulgaria with completed immunization.
