Bulgaria reports 787 new coronavirus cases, 6 deaths in past day

Over the past 24 hours, Bulgaria has registered 787 coronavirus cases out of 6,808 tests, according to the data of the National Coronavirus Information Portal. 12% of the tests came back positive. 59% of the newly infected persons have not been vaccinated. 

The highest number of new cases is in Sofia - 230, in Plovdiv - 64, and in Burgas - 44. Active cases number 10,485. 

There are 708 patients in hospital as 58 of them are in intensive care units

6 patients died in the past day while 704 recovered. 

Yesterday, 1,548 doses of vaccines against coronavirus were administered. There are now 2,072,764 people with completed immunization.
